Project management

Project Management

For us, project management primarily means one thing: communication. This communication can have different reasons and goals, and therefore must be tailored differently depending on the situation. The essential motives that we consider in our communication when taking on project management roles for our clients are listed below:

Objectives: The basis of optimized communication is the disclosure of end and intermediate goals. Only when a goal has been made tangible and understandable for all team members can it be addressed. Effective goal setting also involves giving employees the right goals, which both inspire and motivate them but are also achievable and actionable. Therefore, project management must break down big goals into smaller, tangible goals. It is also important to make these goals measurable so that progress can be transparently viewed and appreciated.

Honesty and Transparency: Although many companies communicate an open culture of error, many people are afraid to report the actual status of a project and transparently point out problems. As external project management consultants, we also perceive our role to disclose and communicate project-related discrepancies, unrealistic schedules, and problem areas. We aim to expose the origin of the problem and thus not blame individual employees for organizational problems. Our goal is to increase transparency within a project and promote communication.

People and Personalities: Organizations are made up of people. Therefore, it is important for us to address the people who make up the organizations. Each person acts out of motives. We want to understand these motives and motivate people sustainably for their job. Therefore, we openly address and do not conceal topics. We believe that good communication especially arises when complex or uncomfortable situations are openly addressed and resolved.

Only when these concepts and values are implemented is effective project management possible from our point of view. In addition, reporting to relevant stakeholders is, of course, a central aspect of project management. Therefore, we aim to create structures that allow real-time data to be captured and made tangible for executives. Our customers benefit from our other business areas of software development and process management, which can provide short-term support for setting up new support programs if desired by the client.
